Topic 7 Collector Deck

Post by Essence Team » Fri Jan 25, 2013 8:18 am

In this topic I'll talk about the Collector Deck.

1) Every hero has his own Collector Deck.
2) You can store all kind of card in the Collector Deck of each of your heroes, except hero special card and cards that are not playable for your hero character.
3) Each Collector Deck is limited (there is limited number of available card slots and limited number of cards that you can store there).
4) The cards in your Collector Deck are ordered in order of their finding (and storing).
5) The order of cards in each Collector Deck is irrelevant. In combat the order in which you will draw the cards from the Collector Deck is always randomly generated (see example 1).
6) When you draw a card from the Collector Deck and in the Dismiss phase you throw it away (put it in the dismiss area), after the end of the combat it WILL NOT BE LOST - it will be still in your Collector Deck.
7) When you draw a card from the Collector Deck and don't use it (it stays in your hand until the end of the combat), after the end of the combat it WILL NOT BE LOST.
8) When you draw a card from the Collector Deck, play it and it gives its effects, the card goes to the Played Cards Area. After the combat and after the win or lose end of the game, each card from the Played Cards Area (i.e. each played card durign the combat) is proposed for you to be stored in your Collector Deck.
9) When you purchase a card pack from the market, they are proposed for you to be stored in your Collector Deck.
10) When you open the Game of Luck and you find a card in there, it is proposed for you to be stored in your Collector Deck.
11) When you kill the boss of some of the races in the Single Player Campaign, a heroic card is proposed for you to be stored in your Collector Deck.
12) If you have enough free card slots in your Collector Deck, you can store all the cards that are proposed to you in your Collector Deck.
13) If you don't have enough free card slots in your Collector Deck, and you are proposed a card or cards to be stored in your Collector Deck, you can exchange some (or all) of the currently existing cards from your Collector Deck with some (or all) of the proposed cards. The cards that you choose not to store in your Collector Deck WILL BE LOST.
14) You cannot store more cards in your Collector Deck than the number of card slots that your Collector Deck is composed of. This number of card slots is 10 for every level 1 hero (i.e. every level 1 hero can store up to 10 cards in his Collector Deck).
15) You can increase the number of card slots of your Collector Deck by leveling up. Each level up gives your hero +1 card slot in your Collector Deck (see example 2).
16) You can increase the number of card slots of your Collector Deck upgrading the skill "Scholarship", which is available for all hero characters.
17) You can store one concrete card up to 3 time (see example 3).
18) You can increase the possible number of similar cards in your Collector Deck (i.e. the number of one concrete card - see point 17) to more than 3 times by upgrading the skill "Mentality", which is available for all hero characters.

Example 1:
Hero A has 5 cards in his Collector Deck, named card 1, card 2, card 3, card 4 and card 5. In the next combat the sequence in which he will draw them can be: card 4, then card 1, then card 5, then card 3, then card 2. OR card 3, then card 4, then card 1, then card 5, then card 2. OR any other permutation of these 5 cards.

Example 2:
If you have hero, which is 42 level, he will have 10 + 41 = 51 card slots in his Collector Deck.

Example 3:
You can store in the Collector Deck of each of your Elf Keeper heroes the concrete mythical card "Rain of Purification" (and/or any other concrete card in the game) up to 3 times.

That's it, check the other topics as well!
