Topic 25: Single Player Campaign

Post by Essence Team » Mon Feb 04, 2013 11:30 am

In this topic I'll talk about the Single Player Campaign.

1) Each of your hero characters can play a Single Player Campaign.
2) Each of the hero character types (Orc Warrior, Human Rogue or Elf Keeper) has different Single Player Campaign.
3) Each Campaign is composed of number of quests.
4) Each quest is composed of number of enemies, that you have to kill. All the quest enemies are AI opponents.
5) Each quest is composed of 3 waves of enemies. The first wave is of two opponents. When you kill both of them (in whatever order you want) you unlock the second wave of enemies, which is composed of 3 enemies. When you kill the three of them (in whatever order you want) you unlock the third wave, where is the boss of the quest (and the boss of the location), where you meet 1 enemy.
6) Each quest has a concrete location on the Map of Eldhelm.
7) The location of each quest defines the enemies of the quest (are they Orc Warriors, Human Rogues or Elf Keepers).
8) If you complete a quest, you will conquer its location and incoming territory.
9) If you complete a quest, you will be grated with certain amount of Gold and/or Experience.
10) If you kill an enemy from a quest, you will be grated with certain amount of Gold and/or Experience.
11) The quests against the Orcs and the Orc Warrior enemies will grant you with Gold and Experience.
12) The quests against the Elves and the Elf Keeper enemies will grant you with more Gold and less Experience.
13) The quests against the Humans and the Human Rogue enemies will grant you with a lot of Gold and NO Experience.
14) All the enemies will grant you with the regular Experience and Gold bonuses as you win the combat against them and they give you additional Gold and/or Experience bonuses.
15) If you complete a quest, you will unlock a new quest or quests.
16) You can complete the unlocked quests in the sequence you wish.
17) Each of the three races has a "boss" - the strongest enemy in the hardest quest against the concrete race, which will grant you additionally with a heroic card, that cannot be found in the Random Deck, nor in the card pack nor in the Game of Luck.
18) The boss of the Orcs is Waynek the Strongest - he will grant you with the heroic card "Orc Ferocity".
19) The boss of the Humans is King Caradan - he will grant you with the heroic card "Human Tactics".
20) The boss of the Elves is Queen Ennoria - she will grant you with the heroic card "Elf Vigor".
21) Kill each of the three bosses to complete the whole Single Game Campaign, and you will collect a lot of Gold and Experience, plus the three heroic cards, that will make a lot of new combos available for you.
22) If you have troubles with killing one of the quest enemies, you can bribe him with Gold.
23) All the quest landmarks are marked with black pins on the Map of Eldhelm.
24) All the quest enemies are marked with red flags on the Map of Eldhelm.
25) All the quest enemies have a certain level and stat parameters, and the level of your hero, when you attack them is irrelevant.
26) There are also blue pins on the Map of Eldhelm, which mark "random enemies", that will always be the same level as the level of your hero.
27) If you want to complete the Single Player Campaign, you must kill all the quest enemies. The killing of random enemies (the blue pins) is not mandatory for the Campaign completion.
28) You can complete the Single Player Campaign only once.
