Combo Damage Bonuses

Hi all,

I want to call your attention about the recent change in the combo bonuses. As you know each combo is a sum between the attributes of the composing cards plus the combo bonuses. From now on there will not be any combo bonus with attribute pure "damage" (with 3-4 exceptions, which will have combo bonus of 1 pure damage, because of the complexity of their combo build and the need for pure damage to be played). From now on all damage/bonus damage combo bonuses will be "BONUS DAMAGE". This change affects all the combos in the games (and all the characters). The numbers are not changed, only the type of the damage. So henceforth you will have greater chance to reduce the damage of any combo with Mystify for example.

Just out of curiosity what prompted these changes? Were people complaining about getting killed to easy?

The reason is a part of this chronologic story :) :
1) We made the first combos which were sum of the combo bonus and the attributes of the composing cards. The combo bonus was calculated according to the attributes of the composing cards and according of the level and complexity of the combo; For simplicity instead of making the combo bonuses with "damage" and separately "bonus damage" we made them all pure "damage". At that time the attribute "reduce opponent's bonus damage" was not invented by us so this was ok :)
2) We introduced the attribute "reduce opponent's bonus damage" to counter the Might, because there were attributes "reduce opponent's heal" and "reduce opponent's defence" (countering Regeneration and Resistance) and "reduce opponent's damage" was too powerful to be used a lot.
3) We introduced the powerful heroic-based combos and the most powerful combos of the Orc Warrior were easy to play and very hard to counter especially with short decks. So we changed the combo bonus of these most powerful combos from "damage" to "bonus damage" and introduced more reduce bonus damage capabilities.
4) We introduced more combos and at one point there were medium combos with pure "damage" which were more powerful than the strongest combos with "bonus damage" because of these reduce bonus damage options. So we decided to unify all the combos by changing all combo bonuses from "damage" to "bonus damage".
